Hello Everyone,
Lately, I've been having some intermittent starting issues with some occasional hesitation/misfires during hard acceleration. The starting issue isn't frequent but sometimes it goes to turn over and there's no juice like a dead battery. I'll attach my jumper box and it will fire up immediately. I've put my tickle charger on the battery and seem to charge full in almost no time at all. No CEL or codes with the hesitation during acceleration. Car is a F30 N55 MHD Stage 2+ with a set of new spark plugs 8k miles ago. Planning on replacing coils on Monday. Thank you in advance for the help! |

Seems like to separate issues to me; fuel delivery and electrical.
The first issue has the characteristics of a bad high pressure fuel pump…intermittent starting issues with some occasional hesitation/misfires during hard acceleration. The second issue had the characteristics of a bad alternator or battery. Or perhaps a loose connector in the charging system? |
