Trim around the Navigation Screen
Anybody tried to add Trim around the navigation screen? I saw it is being sold on ebay so thought of checking if anybody tried this. I have seen in some of the higher models like X5 etc this comes with the car.
Here is the before and after picture...

Personally, I think it looks clean and modern without it. I actually have the an f30 and a new X5. I find the extraneous chrome to feel tacky. I also do not like having a high contrast frame around a screen.

^I agree with that statement - I'd rather do carbon fiber or something dark around that screen.

If it replaced the actual trim of the screen, maybe (although personally I've tried to reduce how much chrome/silver my interior has), but I'm pretty sure all these pieces are snap on/snap in. I think this just snaps around the existing trim, no? Even less worth it imho if that's the case.
