bootmod3 app version 2 is Now Available!🔥😍



What would the BM3 WiFi Adapter be without a brand new completely reimagined user experience? We are beyond excited to share the brand new bootmod3 v2 app with you.

Over the years we have been able to gather incredible feedback from users on how to improve and, 2 years later, we're ready to show it to you finally! We're not stopping here as there's still much more to come but here's what we've done..

Over 400 tasks have been completed during its development with primary focus on the following:

🔸 New User Interface
◦ App entirely rewritten/redesigned using the latest tech to enhance usability for the widest possible range of mobile and desktop/laptop devices.

🔸 Multi-Language Support
◦ We've added support for close to 30 languages. Choose your native language from the Settings screen and all the app's text, buttons, will be translated!

🔸 Multi-Login Vehicle Switching Support
◦ Minimize logins for easy management across multiple accounts and vehicles
◦ Auto-switch between accounts depending on vehicle connected

🔸 Offline Support
◦ Access all app features without internet access including offline flashing and DME re-lock

🔸 Dashboard
◦ Multiple dash screens and customizable gauge layout
◦ Configure dashboard look and feel, Min/Max Alerts and view them in a dedicated screen

🔸 Maps
◦ OTS Maps full re-org - now entirely managed in their own screen, organized by Stage with a simple octane selector
◦ Simplified user experience when looking at the vast selection of bootmod3 OTS Maps for each engine type
◦ Auto-download of Custom Map updates on My Maps
◦ Easy sorting and search

🔸 Datalog Charting
◦ Datalogs get charted in landscape mode with improved tap, pinch/zoom support and with channels displayed in a separate tab to the right
◦ Charts are now entirely usable even on smaller screens!
◦ Toggle channels on/off on charts easily with a search

It looks nice. A couple minor issues I found in first build,

The reset all adaptations doesn't do anything, the confirm box doesn't come up. Reset specific works, I had to click on each one one at a time.

All my maps are gone, just the stock tune shows. The ots maps only has like 3 options, the ots bundle I had with the multi map isn't in there.

Also the dashboard screen should keep the screen on, it turns off and locks after a min.

Love the new app wow!

OTS Maps are not on My Maps anymore. Read the comments in the screen. They got them nicely separated out and now they stay inside the OTS Maps section. I didn't get it at first either but this is so much cleaner now!

They also got an update out for the dash so screen doesn’t dim when keeping the dash on for a while.

Let me address each of them:

Reset all adaptations not working: It's unfortunate to hear that you weren't able to reset all adaptations using the confirm box. This might be a bug in the system, and I'll make sure to investigate this issue.

Missing maps: I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the missing maps. The stock tune showing up might be a result of a glitch in the system. However, please note that the OTS maps are limited to only three options, and the multi-map bundle might not be available in the current build. I'll make sure to add this to our development roadmap.

Dashboard screen turning off: Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We'll work on implementing a feature that keeps the screen on and prevents it from locking after a minute.

Not sure who provided the above verbiage as some of those sound off (the one about maps) but all issues have been fixed in version 2.0.2.

Note about OTS Maps. The new v2 app we've done a lot of work to make the layout a lot more user friendly. OTS Maps will not show under the My Maps screen like in v1. They're not entirely managed in the OTS Maps screen. OTS maps are organized by Stage and on each stage you have an octane selector on the right side to choose among 91, 93, E50, Multimap, etc. You configure, download and flash OTS maps now right from inside the OTS maps screen and My Maps screen is reserved for custom maps made by yourself or your tuner as well as the Stock Tune.
