Don't worry about times - there's always plenty of considerably faster cars/drivers, and if you string a few corners together to get a run past someone it's a good feeling.

There's plenty of run-off areas and it's unlikely you'll break or over-stress anything, with the possible exception of tyres (they can take a pounding).

It's a great evening out.

Couldn't have said it better so I won't try - it is a great evening out with no pressure.

Any more takers?

Come on do something exciting to tell the grandchildren. With Dunsfold and Bedford Autodrome being turned into housing estates, track days will soon be a thing of the past.

Bedford 2019 I believe. Dunsfold has been in planning application for a couple of years, but I think the council have approved it now.

I'm actually surprised Santa Pod has had a new surface put down. Only a matter of time before that disappears. It's situated on the booming Cambridge / Milton Keynes belt.

There's a lot of brownfield land round Bedford, does this definitely include the track?

Yes, the whole site is joint owned by MSV (J.Palmer) and another company, who have both agreed a sale price for the whole lot.

Wow - I didn't know that. What a huge shame. Does that mean that PalmerSport is being wound-up as a business, or does it have plans to relocate ? Maybe build a new facility somewhere else (although maybe Palmer is cashing-out and retiring).

Palmer owns half the tracks in the U.K., so will probably move his PS event elsewhere. I think he made a bid on Silverstone.

I hear Santa Pod is having houses built around it, and council already talking about noise levels. That will be another one that bites the dust. As soon as the first occupant takes residency they will be crying out "it's a bit noisy here, make them stop!"

So do these things whilst you can

All set. I'm looking forward to getting a feel for the Track capabilities of the Ohlins Road & Track coilovers.

All set. Kind of... Have only limited use of second gear! And totally unsure if my new exhaust will pass the noise tests.

gtsussex is not able to attend any longer, so if anyone is interested in a free space then get in touch!

Hey Guy, long time...I hope all's well. A real shame you can't make it, but if you manage to pull it out of the bag at the last minute it'd be great to see you there.

Jeez Terry; last year you almost lost a wheel and now the gearbox is playing-up. Bring the 335D - these Porsches sound a bit flaky

Your forgetting the clutch that went the night before a track day last year too!

But you're right, the 335d has been super reliable noted what's been thrown at it.
