You likely know this but I'll add for others that may not.
The 255-35-19 has a diameter of 26 and treadwidth(footprint) of 8.7 The 255-40-19 has a diameter of 27 and treadwidth of 8.7. Which means the tire will be taller, more sidewall and to me will look out of proportion. The tire width between the two is the exact same. The 265-35 was only slightly taller by approx .3 but width is approx 1/2inch wider This is apples to apples comparison with Hankook Tires only. Different brands and models may be different. |

I ran 18x9 ET42 Apex ARC-8 with 255/40-18 PSS all summer for track and street use. 10mm spacers in the rear for aesthetics.
Factory M-Sport suspension, no rubbing, no worries. Brent |

I would go with 8.5'' just in case the 9.2 rubs cause of how much beef there is on the tire |

Is there any rubbing under full suspension compression? (Kinda hard to test without pushing the vehicle). Can't wait for the pics. |

I haven't tested that, but no rubbing on high speed dips. One quick pic for now. Nice and meaty |

Can you post a straight on photo just off the side... Trying the gauge the "poke" factor with a 255. I have a 255 as well on a 19x9 in the front but my offset is 29 so there is some poke... So would really love the 255 on a different offset wheel. I'm on my phone so apologize if you already posted that angle

[QUOTE=kzflags;19418721]Will do my best to get pics up tmrw morning. Cars been in the shop for a csl trunk[/QUOTE
Nice.... I look forward to seeing that truck... The only angle on my car that doesn't look awesome... Is the rear area, bet that CSL trunk changes the whole car... Can you post any additional details about it? |

It still blows my mind that I couldn't fit 245/35R20 on the front of my car and I'm riding at stock ride height. Blows. My. Mind.
