330e
Very interesting variant of the 3-series. I wonder if this will be more expensive than the 340i.

Check this :
http://www.bmw.nl/nl/home.html You can't yet configure the car, but the price of the 330e is visible ! The price will be different depending of your country, but you can have a good idea of the range if you compare with a 340i. I was very very interrested to lease/rent this car ( end of my current leasing in march, I need to command the next one before mid-november ) but three factors have changed my mind :
So I'll probably choose a 420d gc, with m power kit and in four years, when technology will be more "mature" a 530e or i5 *** UPDATE *** Official 330e price for Belgium is 43250€ with auto. Steptronic transmission or 43500€ with auto. sport transmission ( no manual transmission option, and adaptative suspensions can't be added, only regular or M-sport suspensions ! ) Last edited by MaxDaniels; 11-03-2015 at 03:42 PM.. |

So, because of local taxes, I will probably take the 330e rather than 420d gc.
Low co2 emissions of this model reduces A LOT monthly taxes in Belgium. Tanzanite / extended amaro brown / m-sport pack, for a combined total of ~252hp, in order to offset the look of the GC ( mid-march delivery ). |

MSRP $44695
BMW announced the MSRP for 2016 330e yesterday, $44,695 including $995 S&H fee. That is better than I expected. Option list is not available and no federal credit and state rebate information yet. I am going to LA Auto Show next week to see it in person.

The MSRP was reported by Automotiveworld.
http://www.automotiveworld.com/news-...les-auto-show/ It is only $3400 more than a comparable equipped 328i. With $4007 federal credit and $1500 rebate from CAlifornia, I think 330e is a better deal than 328i. |

"Making its North American debut, the all-new BMW 3 Series eDrive features a plug-in hybrid drive system offering typical BMW driving dynamics and outstanding efficiency. The innovative use of an electric motor and the BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder engine results in a total system output of 248 bHP and 310 lb-ft torque. The BMW 330e accelerates from 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds. In everyday driving conditions, a total range of approximately 370 miles is attainable. The eDrive technology allows for approximately 22 miles in all-electric mode and therefore with zero local emissions. The 2016 BMW 330e will arrive in US showrooms in spring 2016 for $44,695 including $995 Destination & Handling." |
