Hi guys,
I posted this question on another thread, but nobody there could help, so i thought to have another try here, as it seems my problem is related to what is discussed in this thread.

My BMW(X2 M35i - 2020) come with an ENTRYNAV2 HU without WLAN port, so no Carplay possible. I found another HU on ebay, went to a guy who managed to code the new HU on my car, everything works except the Remote Services.
More precisely, I can send commands from MyBMW app to the car, lock, unlock works, but when I send route navigation, the car does not receive any message. Also, the vehicle GPS location is no longer available in MyBMW app. I tried to remove and add the car again, but then the IDrive did not receive the activation message. I had to swap the original HU to be able to add the car again.
The CD services works, weather, news, etc.

Is it worth call the local dealer and ask them for help, or is there anything that can be done to restore those functions, or should I give up an put the original HU back and forget about Carplay?

Hi bimmer friends!
I upgraded to an NBT EVO and looking to swap my TCB with an ATM. There's no much information online on how to do that, maybe you could point me out to a thread or something where people explain how they did it?

Questions:

1) What wiring should be changed?
[In my understanding, I'd need to add two cables between the NBT and ATM: GPS and ethernet. But not sure about the rest, like microphone and what not]

2) How to re-solder the SIM card from the TCB to the ATM?
[I literally found nothing related to this question except this thread]

3) Any FDL coding required after swapping the modules and sim cards?

I have retrofitted NBT Evo and also ATM (moved my Esim from TCB to ATM).

My issue now of a late, is missing BMW online. MY remote services are working fine.

How can I read the provisioning file? My car with factory fitted NBT Evo and ATM don't send LSC. I cannot get access to car status.

Connected Drive Services are pretty much the same if you have TCB or ATM. Is true i can not book Carplay or the packages offered for ATM cars but i can buy services one-by-one. When i retrofitted EVO i ordered original FSC codes on VIN with BMW Germany so i have in repair kit A0 retrofit, 120 map code retrofit initial, 16E and 16F and for Carplay i ordered original 143 FSC.
After i did the SIM swap like 3 years ago i was abble to renew all CD services each year using CD Store. I bought every year as separate services RTTI, BMW Online and Concierge (rest of them like Connected Drive Services, Remote, Teleservices, etc. are there without exiration since were bought with car from begining) and last year i was also able to order map update code (EVO) subscription 2 years directly from CD Store as since the 120 initial was issued officially and is in repair kit i have in CD Store option to buy map update.

For example in Download Manager App from BMW now i am offered the EVO map to download not NEXT as it should be since car was fitted with NBT from factory.

More, since EVO retrofit is official with all official FSC codes when i update services in car i get the EVO_ATM signed provisioning data so all is OK.

Only thing not working as it should in a factory fitted EVO_ATM car is LSC (last status call), the function that shows you in MyBMW app the status of car (windows, doors, fuel level, CC message and service intervals) but for this i have a workaround and i can [...]

Can you share your working provision file so I can test it on my ATM?

same problem, my car not send LSC and the app MyBmw not show status door/windows.. I try resolve from 1 year... nothing

I’ve open a ticket on connected drive and they solve my problem.
I was able to open/close door lock, lights, horn but no last status call.
They told my car was on a blacklist… (think it was just an excuse)

Ah ok, sorry. I read now, you have ATM and NBT EVO not post. You buy your bmw with this conf?
I add NBTevo and ATM after the purchase.. :-(

Yes some cars vins/ATM are blacklisted. Buyer beware.

But I bet you did not purchase a HW 3.x or 4.x HU either.

Can you please explain a tad more about your first and last sentences? I'm looking into a NBT EVO + ATM retrofit, and need as much info as possible. Seems even work done at a BMW dealership can go sour with these services. Makes no sense.

Dealers have no way to perform this complete NBT EVO + ATM retrofit

They can easily order you an ATM. Does not mean it will work for your vehicle in the BMW Connected Drive Network Architecture or even connect it up properly inside your vehicle given what they have available from BMW.

I bought a 2022 GR Supra 3.0 Premium in the US. I moved back to Europe and I have moved my car with me.
Looks like my Supra can't communicate with the BMW servers anymore.
Do you think it's possible to request a TCB/ATM from Toyota / BMW to use the connection services or anyhow?

I have a US and an EU unlimited data sim too. However (based on your description) it's "a bit" more completed/complex.

I like my car, that's why I moved with me...
