Its here.....EBII 330d M Sport!

What can I say, well let me start by saying it was worth the 14 week wait!

The car is amazing, I haven't done a lot of miles as yet but enough to know she will let you drive her how you want, so if you want a nice gentle ride then you have it, but equally if you want to drive like the wind then she's got plenty of grunt.

One niggle so far and its probably user error, but the touch-less opening of boot by waving your foot somewhere underneath the rear bumper seems to be hit and miss, more miss than hit as well.

I'll provide some more feedback and additional pictures soon but here are a couple to share with those still waiting. The pics really don't do her justice but enjoy nevertheless....

Got to go, need to drive and check out the adaptive lights!

For the boot opening:

it's dead centre of the car, and the action is to swing your foot forward under the boot as if you were kicking a ball.

First few times you will panic about bruising your shin (or denting the bumper!), but you'll soon get over it.

Occasionally - if you're a little too far from the car when you swing your foot - the boot will open but then the alarm will sound forcing you to fumble for the keys to shut it off. Defeats the object somewhat

Looks fab, the EB is growing on me too but I'd probably go for Tanzanite if I had my time over again. Got the mineral grey to cut down on the washing (last car was black)

I am going to have to try a few more times and get the hang of it, does it only work if the car is unlocked with the key or will it open like the drivers door if key is in my pocket?

I havent tried actually, but assume I will be able to as had a 3 series touring in there before, pic makes garage door only wide enough for a smart car!

So far MPG is high 20's - need to give it a run to get a sensible reading as 28.7 isn't sensible!

It opens while otherwise locked, key in pocket. The boot opens independently - the doors will not unlock.

I'm 1500 miles into mine after 2.5 weeks. 3 tank fulls so far. Averaging 41 mpg. However, on longer motorway drives it's up around 50mpg. I reckon if you had a long journey to do on motorways you'd get 500+ miles on a tank [approx £73 to fill]. On mixed running its about 420.

Still smiling. Getting used to the drive and it just gets better and better. Acceleration in sport [+] mode is super quick. In Eco mode its sluggish. I've started jumping between modes depending on desired acceleration.

Really really happy.
