Amphibious F30?
My area is flooding badly at the moment and my friends houses are being badly damaged. Luckily, I'm high up on a hill, and so is my 328 so we're safe, but I'm worried about driving it tomorrow in deep standing water. Obviously, I'm not going to drive into the floods but where would you say is the limit regarding water height? 1/4 up the wheel? I shall be EXTREMELY careful! I'm not having my new baby blowing bubbles!

I would not go more than 1/4 of the wheel. This is if you must really drive it! No way you can take public transport or carpool or anything like that?

ya man i would avoid letting the chassis touch the water at all costs - even 1/4 up the wheel is pushing in

The biggest problem might be the waves generated by other cars. Also concern might be rounding a corner in the dry and hitting a low spot at a moderate speed. I know of one case where someone hit water at speed and the engine took in water.....new engine. Keep it parked if you can or take your chances with the other idiots who want to play in the water with there Jeeps, Trucks, and SUV's.
