That may have been the most photo intensive Euro-Delivery post I've ever seen...and I thank you for it! All beautiful, just beautiful. Congrats on your 335i which is bad ass as well.

Copy and paste to my future ED planning document. Thanks for all the hard work planning and documenting this trip.

The M5 rep wheels look fantastic on the car. Where did you get them, Mod bargains?

Awesome post. I'm doing my European Delivery at the end of April. In preparation I bought a wide angle lens for my DSLR and a Contour+2 to video the drives. Contour+2 also has GPS data embedded.

I'm counting down the days!!! I was already planning on doing a write up with lots of photos and videos, but was worried I may go overboard. Glad to see someone else posted A LOT of photos. LOL.

The places I have planned are very similar to yours. Except I wanted to go to the Ferrari factory as well, but just not enough time.

I've done the trip in 2009 also in a rented car then on return to Canada I purchased a BMW from our local dealership my trip also took me to München and Stuttgart among other European locations (Mercedes, BMW, Porsche and VW [Leipzig Glass Factory] museums and factories. It was an unforgettable boys trip Future plans include to visit Italy again and the Ferrari factory and museum.

I like to add your thread to my collection with your permission (see the link below my signature photos).

Thanks!

Rolf-Dieter

PS. I've been procrastinating to post the complete selection of my museum and Die Welt photos I've taken in 2009 ... there is no need now after seeing your photo collection.

I second that

Actually that is the best way to do it, this way you don't have to worry about parking your car and you sleep wonderful during the night not worrying about your car in a parking lot
Of course you may link the thread.

Wow, I'm going to see all those links. Nice collection . . . thanks!

Nice detailed photo tour. And BIG Congrats on your lovely Bimmer.
Can I ask a personal question: which parts of the trip did you pay for? Does BMW pay anything for European delivery? e.g. the flight?

Yeah. They installed them too. They seem like a great company. Frank Kim worked with me and was a big help.

I was inspired by DrivenByE30's ED trip thread. I was new to the forum then. I thought, damn, that's a lot of pictures.

April is right around the corner. I look forward to see your trip. Have fun.

No, the wheels are M5 replicas. Genuine M5 wheels are too aggressive or won't fit period. 18" 400M's came with my car, which I've already sold. I didn't want to pay for the 19" 403M.
