Is this a joke ? 2013 is a one year old car. The car, in principle, has already depreciated by 1 year, which may amount to about 15-20% of the list price and yet the dealer is discounting just 5%. Is there no factory delivery credit allowance on this model ? I thought there was a $3000 factory for August, what happened to this amount on the quote sheet ? Secondly, what the heck is this $504 dealer option fee/charge. Is it the ride green (nitrogen air $399), omvic fee $#5 and a/c tax $100. Tell the dealer you would like regular air and if the dealer tells you it's mandatory and refuse to delete the charge, then report to OMVIC because such so-called mandatory fee is against the current provincial consumers law & regulation.
Lastly, you should not even bother to deal with this dealer and go to another dealer. If you read other threads in regarding ordering 2014 335 or 328 , these people are getting like 6-8% already and they are in the GTA .... so, why would you get even less for a 1 year old car, in fact you should be looking at min. 8 - 8.5% off the 2013 + current factory incentive. Even the 2013 335 has a $1000 factory incentive, I believe. Therefore, educate yourself by calling other GTA dealers to see what is up with the 13 3 series clearance promo. TCBMW usually ranks close to the top in terms of price competitiveness .... btw, I bought mine from TCBMW (my 4th bimmer but most likely my last ... just want to switch brand for the next car .. nothing wrong with my current bimmer at all)

Same. I also got my 2014 F31 from TCBMW, and got 8% off MSRP. For a 2013 model, I second bobblehead and would start with at least 8% off MSRP before any other discounts. Also cross out the admin fee and other fees on signing :P

better. Since Sep incentive is to start today, you should find out what it is as well, that is , from BMW Canada credit allowance.
As for discount, 10.5%, if this is just coming from the dealer side only, then I must say they are simply wanting to get rid of the last of the remaining stock. Not bad at all. The fees, however, will need to be rid of: winter mats - $149 - request as throw in Ride green - $399 - request regular air - that's totally insane wheel locks - $89.50 - request as throw in For comparison, call up other dealers as well. |

First of all, you are getting a RWD car, right ? That's what you want, NO AWD, I assume.
If that's the case, you should push $600 - $750 more. Again, those mentioned fees I had suggested should be deleted ... no negotiation on that. If dealer refuse to give anymore discount, then go for the extended warranty... +2 more years (meaning 6 yrs warranty) .. that's about $1000+ (retail value) ... if you are thinking of keeping the car for like 5-6 yrs time horizon. May also help in the resale value down the road. |
