Only one problem with the alcantara, catches a lot of lint and vacuuming it is the only solution i've come up with.

Any suggestions?

I don't know since I didn't do it. I got it done prior to delivery. I also had the bright idea of keeping the leather from the stock shifter and only replacing the head of the shifter with the carbon fiber knob but that didn't work.

I would recommend the weighted shifter from bmwpedals or bimmian instead of the m-performance one because the alcantara loves to pick up dust.

Ha! You didn't cut the top part of the floor mats either! Those tabs are for the packaging hangers. If you look closely, there is a scissor icon telling you to cut along this edge.

I didn't cut mine either. But mostly because I'm lazy and mine are all black.

I think I'm lazier than you.

Is that suede covering around the stickshift? Isn't that supposed to be regular leather by default?

Its leather on the stock shifter, when you get the m-performance shifter, it comes with alcantera/suede - feels similar.
