Ordering time would be 8 weeks give or take- you might be able to get a great deal on a 435 since the will try to push the 440
440 pros/cons
pros- New engine, likely more efficient so better MPG. I haven't seen any info, but I would bet you'd see a modest bump in HP and torque, but not huge.

Cons, any time a manufacturer builds a new engine, there is a possibility that a bug or two wasn't worked out or not identified.

I would stick with the 435 N55 engine that has been around for so many year with any issues rather than the new 440 B58

B58 has been in the 340 as well, so it's not exactly "new".

340i is fairly new it's only been out since 2015 replacing the great 335. Now the N55 engine has been out from 2009 to present and B58 that will be in the 440 has been out from 2015–present - that I would say it fairly new - Don't you think?
