I love these Morr wheels. Great choice. Can't wait to see some pics on the car. I have the 19" 403M wheels, which are substantially heavier. How much of an improvement in acceleration, handling, and MPG do think you achieve when changing to a much lighter wheel like these Morr wheels?

I'm interested in the wheel weight difference. Also what is the difference in runflat vs non runflat. Is it substantial?

The set-up I am wanting to run looks like this:
19x9 (22lbs+/-) w/ Michelin PSS 235/40 (23lbs)
19x10 (23lbs+/-) w/ Michelin PSS 265/35 (25lbs)

Wanting a meaty look. This is the same tire sizes as Gerbs has on his ride. Earth to Gerbs, looking for feedback on your set-up, where are you?

The stock set-up on my car is the 397's which are just over 26 lbs each. I have the Pirelli Cinturato P7 all season run flats @ 225/45 18, which are 27 fat pig lbs a piece. so you are looking at saving 5 pounds per rear corner and 7 lbs per front corner. Of course that is assuming that I have the weights correct for the Morrs, but it gives you an idea.

Sheesh, I knew the Runflats were heavier, but didn't think they were that much...

I could tell a significant difference in agility and quickness going from 19 403s to the BBS CH-R. I believe the MORRs are about 3-4 lbs Lighter than the CH-Rs. Going from the run flats to the hankooks probably was the bigger savings in weight, all of which is unsprung so It makes a huge difference. I had an e90 335 with VS7 MORRs so when I drove the F30 it felt disappointingly slower--now with the tire and wheel change it's feels more like the e90 in quickness.

I was going to get a set of the VS8 MORRs but waiting 4-6 weeks was the deal breaker. They are light wheels that look beautiful and my set of VS7s never bent once and there were a few occasions where I thought for sure they would have.

Perhaps a set of VS8s or MS8s are in my future...

I can offer an update on the wait times. I just heard back from Morr and the wheels I ordered at the end of January are just set to start machining sometime this week or next. It would be fair to say that I am looking at an 8 week total wait. Not a death blow for me because we are still buried under a mountain of snow, but something to keep in mind for others who are lucky enough to be in region with climate fit for humans

Ouch, I think I'm about the pull the trigger on some and it seems like the moor folks were selling us on a much shorter wait (4 weeks or so).

I'm asking for a custom 'light' tint. Guess I'll ask if that will push me till the end of summer lol

I just heard back from Morr, and they advised me that they had a backlog over the winter due to a higher than usual order volume and insufficient raw materials to fill said orders. However, they assured me that the issue had been resolved with their suppliers and they are pumping them out ASAP now.

Again, no huge concern for me as mine won't go on the car until mid-April. If anyone has concerns, the guys at Morr have been really quick at responding to my emails, so feel free to shoot them any questions you may have.

That's a similar (although more detailed) story as to what I got from the vendor I'm dealing with. He said they just started their latest batch yesterday. Looks like you're in!

I, on the other hand, will have to wait until your wheels are done. boooo

He's guessing 4 weeks or so for me, but will give me an update in the next day or so once Morr has the order and gives him a timeline.

I'm anxious to see what Frankenstein I've created with a 'light tint' that they are using just for me.

Check back tomorrow. I'm having them put on finally, unless something goes horribly wrong.

$3,400 base for 19" 9" front and 10" rears. Finishes are around $400 on top of that. I'm sure you can pay +/-$200 or so depending on who you order from and what you get.
