My ZSL 335i was in the shop recently and my loaner was a no-line 328i. Beyond the engine differences, these are two completely separate cars. ZSL also gives you the M Sport Suspension (at least here in the US). It's far more important than any of the cosmetic parts of the package, thought I think those pieces are worth the prices, especially the black headliner.

If anyone is considering the M Sport Supsension I advise you to forget about it and simply choose the M Adaptive -it´s just that much better! Firmer in Sport and almost 5er-like in Comfort. Both suspension and steering are affected, VSS only changes steering ratio and not feedback so you don´t have to get both unless you crave it.
Someone mentioned Sport+ coming with the M Adaptive, this is wrong as Sport+ has nothing to do with it. It comes with the Sport Automatic, with or without any special suspension.

I've ordered a 330d M Sport (due in march in the UK) with the variable sports steering upgrade - but i don't remember ever being offered M Adaptive.... I assume mine will come with just M Sport suspension and not M Adaptive then? Am I missing something exciting here?

You´re right, forgot that you guys are only able choose the package and not the single option. But I think it´s always been like that, not only for MY13?

Aha I see it now on the BMW configurator now. £515 (approx $1000) for this upgrade.
Who thinks its worth the money?

two entirely different situations and feels.
Sport line with adaptive should be the option!
