I agree with the posts here. Dakota Red is also an outstanding interior choice. It adds life and color into the interior and makes the interior look more luxurious, in my opinion.
I have Dakota red (Not sure how different this is from Coral Red)

It's a great color but wish it was available in nappa leather.

All these comments are really helpful-- especially from those who have had the color for long periods of time. I'm really feeling like I'm going to go over there tomorrow and get it.

Coral Red wouldn't be harder to maintain (I had it in my 428i GC for 6 months), if you do your regular cleaning as you should with leather seats then it will stay clean for years to come. Unless you're really OCD, it won't be that noticeable that they're dirty if you haven't wiped them down for almost 2 months.
Whatever colour you pick, look into protector like HD Fabric Protector. It'll help keep your interior clean and easier to wipe off jean/pants stains, etc from the seats. I went with the Coral Red because it makes the interior feel more open and doesn't look cheap (I feel like black leather looks cheap... don't ask why lol)

My 135i was black with coral red and I loved the interior.
I never had problems with the keeping the seats clean. In fact, I think it was easier to keep clean than a black interior. However, if you don't condition the leather once in a while you will likely get bolster wear over time. |

Hey, for an added pop, I got the OEM Sport Line floor mats for my old F30; they also fit my F32. The mats have the red trim. Talk about really making the interior extra hot! Damn I love this interior....

^ Agreed, the OEM Sport Line floor mats with the red trim really buttons up the interior together. I'll be using the ones from my old F36 in my new F30

Glacier Silver on Coral Red owner here. Love the red, I get compliments all the time too.
My father-in-law, who hates red so much he won't even use it when decorating for Christmas, even he likes it! |

I see it in the sunshine while driving and think that it's amazing. Plus the classic ambient lighting looks good on it, especially on the backseat and on the doors.

No regrets having coral red. My previous cars had black or beige interiors and I wanted something different this time. I was worried when I ordered the car that it would be too much red but seeing it in person with the contrasting doors/carpet/etc. it's great!!!

My E88 is AW on CR and it's absolutely beautiful, in my mind at least. CR isn't particularly hard to keep clean; it ages a hell of a lot better than the tan/creme shades.
My F30 is EBII on black; and while I like the more understated look for the sedan...Sometimes I wish it was also CR. Personally the only leather that I really prefer to CR is the cinnamon from the E46 M3.

Love Coral over Mineral Grey on my F31. Gives the car a more exotic feel, as not many companies offer full red leather on their lower end luxury cars. I've yet to have someone NOT love the look of it.
