You would need to be in comfort mode, so with lots of body roll and less throttle response but maybe that's less of an issue if you're flooring it

It's usually more like, "smoke the tire", but yeah, you should be able to do that, no problem.

Check towards min 3...

I smoked the tires on my 320i when I was gonna get new tires

What I did was keep it in comfort and turn off DSC (hold traction control button for a few seconds) and then I had my left foot on the brake all the way and then I put my right foot on the gas pedal and revved it up high and then I would take my foot off the brake slowly

This has worked in every automatic I've owned (minus my old 4x4 chevy Silverado lol)

He can do what he wants to do. It's not that I don't see the appeal of doing burnouts, just that I grew out of it by the time I turned 18.

On the f30 LCI The ECU will sense when you're doing donuts and put the car into limp mode.

Sure, if you have the sport auto, use the launch control.

Launch control is supposed to reduce wheel spin.

OP is asking about the 340i. You can have wheel spin in launch control mode because it lets you set the launch rpm and the system has to learn the road characteristics and will improve the launch with subsequent launches. Different roads and weather conditions can affect the launch control but the fact remains you will likely have less wheel spin than without launch control.
