I didn't about this part when I brought my first bimmer..I track the ship, the car stay at the port longer due to snow, transport to dealer, dealer called me, your car is here & ready. Drove my trade-in car, move the stuff/plates over to the new car. Sales guy spend 30 mins going over the car with me....I let it rip of the parking lot, on to the highway smiling... that was 8 years ago...my memory a bit foggy..

well SA's aren't always correct, so who knows... if a dealer can only request a CO once the car arrives to dealership.

The New Jersey VDC processes an average of 300 cars per day including new and European Delivery BMWs, Minis, and Rolls-Royces, which arrive from Austria, Germany, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.

So if it gets on the transport Fri evening/Sat morning...may get it Saturday afternoon...Germany is open on Monday, why wait for FedEx, a scan pdf copy might do...I know bc my team is in but, I'm not, need a break from working holidays..

i was told the other day my car should was scheduled to transport out of Jersey VPC on Wednesday and possibly arrive later Wednesday to dealer about 30 miles away.

apparently two 340s came in to the dealer already this morning but not mine yet...possibly on second truck they say...

that's weird it was not group together to the dealer...i didn't check with my broker yet...the 2 340s (i) or xi??

My SA build was on the Eternal Ace and is still at the VPC for some reason. 340i 6MT. The expected dealer arrival date was today (10/16) but no word yet of it even shipping... weird....

Edit: Has anyone's Eternal Ace car been released from the VPC yet? Any 6MT? I've heard rumors of another EPA hold due to VW's disaster...

i have a 340 6MT that was on eternal ace also. dealer arrival was 10/15 the other day in the computer. Then it got delayed to 10/24. no one could tell me why yet...maybe the manual transmission is delaying it for EPA emissions? i read something about that for someone in texas.
I was concerned about repairs for possible damage causing the delay but now I feel a little better knowing that you are delayed too...

This is so strange; we have the same car/configuration, were on the same ship, yet mine is still at the VPC according to the BMW rep I just spoke to. What gives?

I took delivery today....fucking drive was awesome...Sport/Sport + tightens the steering wheel a bit....no close to hydraulics...My tailpipes matches the color to the rims, I was surprise..I walk around the dealership, I saw 2 340xi, Estoril Blue (8AT) & Black (6MT) cmplaya..I guess the Black is yours... still in wraps...I need to stay away from the autostick..I accidentally hit P at a red light, turn green...I had to shift back to D...d
BTW, the lights are amazing...love the Sport brakes...it was firm..but my E90 was firmer...can get used to it.. The lumbar support was awesome..

Overall, coming from a E90, I'm very happy about it...it will take some use to..I think using Sport mode uses more gas....

congrats on new car! I am getting mine soon too... I'd love to hear more about how it feels compared to E90, and what suspension did you get? do you like the suspension? also hows the tires feel?
