Dealer loaners
Anyone can recommend a local dealer in NY/NJ that offers free loaners for routine maintenance for a car that was not purchased at their dealership?

Most should, but if short supply they will prioritize their customers and maybe put you into a rental. That said if you don't schedule the day before you want to come in shouldn't be a problem.

Jesus. I think that's probably WAY on the safe side but you never know. The ONLY issue you may run into is dealers take their loaners out of commission every now and again for inventory or some such nonsense, so you may run into a week where they have literally no loaners available to anyone.

if the dealer doesn't have loaners 5-6 weeks in advance they probably will not have one 2 months in advance either, seems like a shitty dealership I would go somewhere else

I usually just show up without an appointment and I have never not had something to drive, even if it's something off the used lot.
