That's a very vague statement, $0 down as in you're rolling in the acquisition and all other fees into the payment? How many miles per year? The switch from 10k-15k/yr ends up being an easy $50/mo.

Ultimately the dealer should show you the terms of your lease including the price of your vehicle, all the fees, and everything else.

You should make sure you're paying the base money factor (not sure if it's been posted for October?) and that you aren't getting stuck with any extra fees, then use BMWconfig to see how far over invoice your car is.

Give us more info: MF, Price agreed for the car, residual. Those numbers are key in order to know if you got a fair deal. Make sure to get all incentives available to you also.

Also, have you considered doing ED? It allowed me to get a 56K MSRP, for 36 month/12k year for $550 a month with zero down.

You can either pay yourself, finance or lease with BMWFS. Now the downturn is you have to make the first payment before picking up the car in Munich, then wait 6 to 8 weeks before getting it back in the US. Small consolation for the wait is that BMW makes the second payment for you.

How did you manage to get a MSRP that low on 335i msport with Navi, Heated seats, shades and 19'' wheels? What is your secret? Or maybe you meant to say 328, since you are also ordering lighting Package which is standard on 335 but an option for 328, same for moonroof.

I'm guessing since his location is listed in Germany that might have something to do with it.

the $52.5k MSRP on our car worked out to $4k down, $650/mo + fees. 12k mi/yr. Yeah, no thanks. So much for "Lease Deals". 1.79% financing is a better alternative, if you *think* you might keep the car longer than 36mos

That number seems like they were literally giving you the car at MSRP...did you research the actual cars invoice cost and go in with the right #'s to negotiate?

Also this is my favorite lease calculator at the moment...lets you itemize things to put them in the right places, and shows you what the payment should be if you pay taxes with the lease or up front.

We stopped by to kick tires and had no intention on buying a car that day. We ended up getting USAA pricing on the purchase (about $4k off) and drove the car home that night. I usually research the heck out of things before buying but this was my wife's decision to make and she wanted it. We ended up getting a fair deal but the lease option wasn't really a good one given this numbers they gave us (which was supposed to be off the same numbers)

Yeah, the challenge with leasing is there's so many other numbers that can ruin it for you.

He might have said he was giving you $4k off the price then inflated the acquisition fee, money factor, thrown in a few more fees, etc.

The first dealer I went to I made it clear I wasn't terribly up on my math (I had actually gone to test drive a used E90 but then ended up checking out the F3) and after reviewing it the next day realized how badly he was trying to screw me.
