Tune with AFE catless DP question

Anyone know if I could I use the BMS Stage 1 BMW Performance Tuner with a AFE catless downpipe to hide the O2 code or would I need to use the F Series N55 JB4 to hide that message

BMS Stage 1 will not delete code.

You will need a JB4, BMS Can Flap Module, I think VSRF sells an O2 sensor simulator, or software flash from 3rd party tuner.

Well I had my cat simulator installed last Friday and so far I have driven my car over 120 miles and there has been no check engine light. I can double check and make sure that the code is off in the car but I have been reassured that it work on the F chassis N55

Yes you will pass an emissions test with the unit. You just need to set the JB on stock map and drive the car until the drive cycle is completed and then go in and get the emissions test done.

Good news. Assuming you have the auto clear off on JB4 and have you checked for any faults? I say this, because I would not get a CEL but when I checked codes via JB4 I had the catless DP installed code.

I will need to check that actually.

I only see the VSRF O2 sensor simulator for the E series, do you happen to know if they make one for the F?
