Certain angles from the front make the new 3 look very wide.

I thought that as well until someone in a previous post pointed out that those type of hinges are necessary for an 'automated close' feature of the trunk lid.

The F30 looks great in a natural setting and it's getting to the point I have to it see in person.

Engine compartment looks empty. The motor is not filling up the engine bay.

The accent stitching is nice.

Full Engine Bay = Large motor is heavy motor. Results in lots of understeer and bad front/rear weight ratio due to mounting on or even in front axle -> AUDI

Empty Engine Bay = Small motor is lighter. Engine can be placed further back behind axle (gap in front). Much better handling and perfect 50:50 weight ratio. Overall weigth saving, better crash safety -> BMW

Can't really complain about that.

I still can't stand that hood line. It's like they made no effort to blend it in like the current 3's. It totally disrupts the lines.

I am not feeling this car without the Msport package. Plus i am also starting to see why bmw said this will also be the most profitable 3 series for them ever when I look at the interior pics.

I hate how the new 3 series is so beautiful yet it is slower than the old 3 series. 0-60 in 5.5 seconds?? I might not even get it because of that

So I did a little experiment

I love the new F30, but the front end just looks too angry. I almost wish someone would come out with an aftermarket body molding that would cover the extension of the headlight housing. But then again, it might look too much like the E90 LCI. It really reveals the notion that maybe the design team couldn't really make the E90 LCI better, so they just had to make it different with patchwork for the F30.
