Definitely going to need some drive-by videos to really see what that sounds like under acceleration. It would also be useful to know what it sounds like in cabin with the windows up & sunroof closed. Just so that people have an accurate expectation.

How much quieter is it than the e92 pe?

my (n54) e92 PE was way louder, after the car warms up the dinan is pretty quiet, I did have a blow-off valve on my charge-pipe in the e92 tho so maybe it seemed louder with it.

I'm still going to post a daytime video on monday, I work all day sat and sun.

Were you able to get the tips nice and tight up against the bumper? Nobody likes saggy cans (women or cars)

The new dinan exhaust sounds great. Videos don't do it justice. It's louder than I thought without being obnoxious.

I agree... Installed mine over the weekend.

A little more grunt than the MPE but not too loud. Cold startup sounds great.

Wondering if that adds any sound to the dinan exhaust? Also, I have a manual 2014 335 so I'm not sure if it's worth doing.

Most of what the MPPK does for exhaust is to open the flapper on the driver's side pipe in Sport/Sport+ modes along with a few engine settings to enhance the "burble" on throttle backoff. If the Dinan unit doesn't include the flapper valve, then there's really nothing that the MPPK does for it above and beyond the stock and MPE units.

Thanks that's great information.

I think I'm going to hold off on the mppk for now. Next year if I want more power I could always do it.

Drone is very subjective...

Yes just barely... only in eco-pro and comfort. Doesn't bother me.

It's not the type of drone that buzzes the entire cabin and give you a headache or is embarrassing when you have people in the car (did your muffler rust off)?

No i'm stock.

but some sort of tune will happen down the road. I also have a catless down pipe ready to go.

I'm waiting for a Dinan tune. I'm hoping they can bump it up a little from the the MPPk.
