I ordered an E90 MB Quart speaker setup, harness, and 6-channel amp for my 335is, but I sold the car last fall. Thinking of getting a used F30 328i 6mt instead. Will these components work, or do I need to look at another setup? What about harness?

Yes it will. All dimensions of speakers are similar. Don't worry
The difference is only that F30 speaker is mounted direct in to the door but E90 door panel

E92 speakers (40mm or less depth) fit the F30. E90 speakers (>40mm) require a 15mm spacer or their magnet will hit the window mechanism.

You're right! I forgot about depth because of using spacer ring

Just to bump an old thread. I have checked E90 and E92 front speaker part numbers and there the same.

So I am still trying to work out if E90 front door speakers will fit F30?
