Car Sealant

Hi All,

With the iminant arrival of the new motor (I'm told March 4th now), I was looking into sealing the cars exterior.

The dealer tried to sell me the usual Seal n Protect, and although I ended up with it on my current E90, I think it was basically rubbish and seemed to offer no difference to normal paint.

I have been toying with the idea ox getting a GTechniq EXO seal from a local detailer, although very good, it is also very pricey at around £300-400.

Now I know you will all say that 'you get what you pay for', are there any cost effect products that any of you have good or bad reports on that I could apply myself, I've been looking at the Zaino - Z-CS Clear Seal, which seems to get good reviews.

I don't want to enter the abyss that is detailingworld and open up the biggest can of worms!

Yes please Estoril, please send me details of what you had done and contact details. That seems like a great price, and he may not be too far from Northampton?

Anyone else know of a good detailer in the East Mids area to do a new car protect?

If you are having someone apply it for you and prep the car then the bulk of the cost will be going on labour rather than the products used.
