M3 Seats on F30 Retrofit?

Is it "plug n play" ? Can i install the M3 seats on my F30?. Is there any way to buy them used?

its been done. This dude did full interior change. even leather stitched dash. He has a build thread on this forum somewhere. He also did full LED colour change in the interior

F80 interior on F30 is direct fit. What I wanna know is that f33 seat will fit f32?

Isn't there an issue with retrofitting non-factory equipped seats? I vaguely remember reading about someone trying this and even after trying to VO code the seat modules the electronics never worked. I'd be leery about airbags not functioning correctly as well.

I scanned through that thread and he mentioned something about getting modules working with coding parameter help from shawnsheridan. I still think there may be an issue with the airbags.

Yes it is possible to install an interior M3 F80 on a bmw F30 even on bmw F22
To avoid mistakes, simply put your original airbags on the new M3 seats.

If the modules of the seats are not detected it is enough to remit your original modules or to flasher the module M3 but all depends on the year of your bmw.
On my F30 (2012), I had handed my modules of origin F30 on the seats M3.
On my F22 (2014), the M3 modules operated directly without error.

Have any new discoveries been found on this topic? I am debating swapping a 2016 f80 drivers seat into my 2013 f30 but I wanted to know if I could get away with only doing 1?
