F30 LED Foglights Coding

I've seen a few different people post which sections to code to eliminate any errors and flickering with LED foglights but they seem to each be a little different. Can anybody post what they coded and if it worked successfully?

For example, I've seen:

Quote:
FEM_BODY / 3061 LceLciOutputChannels / NSW_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG --> nicht_aktiv
FEM_BODY / 3061 LceLciOutputChannels / NSW_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG --> nicht_aktiv
FEM_BODY / 3061 LceLciOutputChannels / NSW_L_KURZSCHLUSS --> nicht_aktiv
FEM_BODY / 3061 LceLciOutputChannels / NSW_L_IS_LED --> aktiv
FEM_BODY / 3061 LceLciOutputChannels / NSW_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG --> nicht_aktiv
FEM_BODY / 3061 LceLciOutputChannels / NSW_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG --> nicht_aktiv
FEM_BODY / 3061 LceLciOutputChannels / NSW_R_KURZSCHLUSS --> nicht_aktiv
FEM_BODY / 3061 LceLciOutputChannels / NSW_R_IS_LED --> aktiv
and

Quote:
3061 NSW_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv : LED Foglights front right
3061 NSW_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv : LED Foglights front right
3061 NSW_R_IS_LED -> aktiv : LED Foglights front right
3062 MAPPING_ABBIEGEL_R_PWM_LEVEL_1 -> 100% : LED Foglights front right
3061 NSW_R_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ -> dimmed : LED Foglights front right
3063 MAPPING_NEBELSCHW_R_PWM_LEVEL_1 -> 100% : LED Foglights front right

3061 NSW_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv : LED Foglights front left
3061 NSW_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv : LED Foglights front left
3061 NSW_L_IS_LED -> aktiv : LED Foglights front left
3061 NSW_L_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ -> dimmed : LED Foglights front left
3063 MAPPING_NEBELSCHW_L_PWM_LEVEL_1 -> 100% : LED Foglights front left
3062 MAPPING_ABBIEGEL_L_PWM_LEVEL_1 -> 100% : LED Foglights front left
and lastly

Quote:
MAPPING_NEBELSCHW_L_PWM_LEVEL_1 100%
MAPPING_NEBELSCHW_R_PWM_LEVEL_1 100%
NSW_L_DUALSP_aktiv
NSW_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG » nicht_aktiv
NSW_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG » nicht_aktiv
NSW_L_KURZSCHLUSS » nicht_aktiv
NSW_L_IS_LED » aktiv
NSW_R_DUALSP_aktiv
NSW_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG » nicht_aktiv
NSW_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG » nicht_aktiv
NSW_R_KURZSCHLUSS » nicht_aktiv
NSW_R_IS_LED » aktiv

They each seem to have one or two codes that the other ones are missing. Which one(s) have you guys tried? Thanks!

F30 LED Foglights Coding

I am wondering the EXACT same thing and am having the exact same thoughts as you. Have you tried any of these combinations yet, yourself?

Thanks!

I have replaced the H8 35W fog light with a cree led h8 lamps

No error found !

The coding is not necessary if the leds are canbus and high power.

Thanks guys. This is what worked for me:

True, you could use a canbus error decoder (basically a resistor) but then you would have to find a place to mount it without worrying about it melting down. With coding, you can plug in any H8 LED bulb and have it work without any errors or flickering.

Neither of them wouldn't work properly. I give you a tip: when all coded correctly, you'll find an error in FEM. Something about lamp configuration
