CR interior...
i'm a bit shocked at the positive remarks on the CR interior.
i am currently faced with getting an awesome deal on one. i assume because of the coral red interior. haven't seen it in person. is it really more bright that in these pics? i really mean it's an AWESOME deal on a '14 fairly load 335xi

And especially on a 335 where the dash isnt red its absolutely fantastic. (not that the 4 looks bad, but I like the dash without the red) You definitely need to see it in person. Ive always hated red interiors until I saw it in person (which actually was a 435).

I hate to bust this thread....since I started it AND there has been ALOT of buzz with great perspectives from everyone. I recently changed my order to a 535i. YES I went through the evolution, considering a 435i Gran Coupe, but went back to my first love...the "5". As such, there is no CR interior option...at least not within my price range. So the MRS wins out regardless, BUT if I had stuck with the 335i or 435i, red would've been the choice!

I just want to comment that I test drove a 435 xDrive GC yesterday with Coral Red interior and Sapphire Black exterior and I must say, it really is stunning in person. I am still undecided because it's just so different than anything I've ever had. The fact that the dash is red also has me second guessing, but I don't think paying $950 for the leather dash to kill it is worth it, especially in a lease.
I will say that after reading through these comments and seeing some of the other member's pictures, I am once again leaning towards the red. I am doing Carbon Black exterior and know I do not want to the black interior. I was initially thinking Ivory or Oyster to really contrast, but there is something beautiful about that red. |

I just picked up my AW with CR interior yesterday. Unsurprisingly, the wife hates the red. But that's okay, it's my car and I love it. It makes the interior so much more interesting.

I've had my car for a few weeks now and the one thing that gets positive comments, without exception, is the red leather. Even friends who doubted my choice change their minds when they see it in person. I think it works great with the MG exterior.

I also love the Coral Red. Was a bit unsure at first, but it's definitely growing on me...

If you like it so much, you'll regret not getting it. You have to see it in person, your wife will appreciate seeing it in person. Take a test drive and see if it bothers you. No regrets here.

I have a coral red interior with white exterior, it suits the car a lot, and I get a lot of favorable comments from people.
I've done 24k miles in my car and the leather does get darker when dirty. Its incredible how much brighter the red looks after you clean it. |

Don't mean to whore my pictures around too much; but I think the coral red makes the car look even that much more expensive, even though its a zero cost option....
Haven't regretted it for the 5 days I had her lol. It really makes the interior pop against alpine white. |

By the way, I got the Coral Red with the Anthracite wood trim. I know the standard is the aluminum hexagon, but I think my combo is a lot more subtle (funny saying that for a CR interior) and came out really well. I also get the brushed aluminum stripe along the dash, which I like much better than the piano black. I took a gamble ordering it because it was new for 2015 and I couldn't see a car with it, but it paid off. Oh, and it looks nothing like it does on the BMW configurator, it's much more gray than brown.

In person it is not as extreme as it looks in the pictures. Most of the red panels are angled away from you at normal height so they don't stand out so much. I still prefer the black panels but it's not like you get an option on the 4 series.
