Love mineral grey, was this close to ordering MG/CR, but went with EB/Black in the end.

Love those alloys though, what was the cost over the 19's?

Oh and can you put up some bigger pictures?

Cheers

SGLL66 - OP can we have some more pics from the side to see how much the suspension has settled with miles. Everyone moans about the xdrive jacked up look, I'd be interested to see a direct comparison from 10 miles to 5000 miles

Theres always something quicker out there….

I was following an X5 M this morning and the guy was clearly on a mission. He pulled out of a junction and I quickly tried to follow but he had fooked off down the road……quick motor for a 2.3 tonne tank.

The 335d would need 400bhp to match the power to weight ratio on a standard X5M...

To be fair I'm not pushing mine at the moment as still running it in and the engine was cold. But.... its the usual thing that if the car in front gets that slight head start then you'll have a job to catch them. And if they have nearly 150bhp more and determined to drive hard they'll have even more of an advantage. You could certainly hear the V8 singing away.

Anyway, I can probably beat virtually anything else on the road that I come up against every day.

You can also satisfy yourself that he used more juice getting out of that junction than you did for the whole journey

Agreed!
Also I quoted 150bhp more where it's in fact 250bhp more!

4.4 twin turbo V8 and 547bhp.

Impressive beast. Shouldn't be much in a drag race to 60mph but with a rolling start he'd be hard to catch.

Yes, its quick. Watch this (should play at the interesting bit)

Unfortunately, it seems that this is the only thing the X5 M is good for. Seems its pretty crap otherwise:
