DEPO F30/31 Projector Headlights **UK Photos and Chat thread**

UPDATE:

This product has been ordered and will be delivered January 2017.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Right guys

I'm putting up this thread to gauge interest in a potential group buy for F30/F31 projector headlights.

These headlights are as near as one can get to the genuine xenon headlights if your car doesn't come with factory xenon.

Projector and led rings same as factory headlights, these will improve the look of your car instantly. HIDS can be fitted to these headlights.

The headlights are from Depo and are the best ones I've seen, I believe they are the same as the USR ones offered in the United States.

The company is called Eurowagens, and they are based in Hertfordshire.

I have been on the phone to Stefan the owner a few times today and he would be interested in a group buy and would work something out on price for us.

The headlights themselves at the moment are £399 but I will be working to get a discount on these, naturally the more people who commit to the group buy, the cheaper it will be for us.

If you would like you join the group buy please add your name to the list below

FINAL LIST SENT TO EUROWAGENS.

So projector headlights and a set of HIDS and in effect you have xenons? I remember another forum I'm on doing a similar thing and people were concerned about the legislation surrounding MOT time and the presence of headlight washers etc.

Either way I'm certainly interested!

The car only needs washers if they were fitted from the factory.

At the moment guys, the stefan doesn't know if there are one or two projector lenses on each headlight. I'm assuming it's just one as the USR ones are from depo, and I wouldn't imagine depo would make 2 different sets of these headlights.

Stefan is contacting depo for me to try and get a photo of the actual headlights and he will have a concrete date in around a weeks time.

I will keep you guys updated

Very simple, remove the HIDs for MOT and fit the halogen bulbs. Then you can fit the HIDs again after that

For fitting, this would be easy for a garage to do right?

Regarding bulbs to get the look in the photos it would have to be HID's right to give that white bright look?

Okay and regarding the white ring lights, what kinda bulb would power these seeing as they are not Xenons?

As to achieve the same look they must be quite powerful?

Yes a garage can fit these no problem, simple case of swapping them over, they connect to your normal halogen headlight connector, plug and play.

With regards to a white colour bulb, you can get any halogen bulb with blue glass, like Philips diamond vision. This will give a hid xenon look without buying HIDs

The ring lights aren't powered by the xenons on oem headlights, they're separate LED bulbs, so i guess it's the same on these.

The LED ring bulbs are built into the headlight, you won't need to fit them.

Yeah but what I mean is yeah we could just fit a normal H7 bulb IF we wanted, but to give it an even brighter look you could fit HID's?
