6.5 Liters Correct?

So I'm changing my oil in this car for the first time today. Multiple searches have not come up with a concrete answer to oil capacity with filter change. Most of what I see is "7 quarts".....the BMW oil I purchased came in liter bottles and one publication I saw listed 6.5 liters as the fill with filter change. Is this correct?

I decided not to post in the maintenance section as to target specifically the N55 crowd with my question.

I filled with 6.5L and no issues. Checked the oil levels daily during the first week to make sure.

I do about 6.5 qts as well, each time it has showed filled to MAX on the idrive after a test.
