Will the midpipe work with the M performance muffler? Or are the lengths/geometries off?

Never tested it but I would be shocked if it didn't fit. I would assume the M-Performance muffler would use the same locators as the stock exhaust being from the factory and all.

While they are similar... it would not fit. This only applies to the F30 340i.

Any plans to sell the midpipe and muffler as a kit?

If installing the pair together is there a need to cut the original exhaust at the punch point? Or can you just drop the entire stock exhaust?
(Just thinking about returning to factory spec)

No plans for a bundle kit that I am aware of. In theory you could just drop the entire exhaust and just do the one cut after the CAT.

Do you even have to do a cut after the cat? The instructions .pdf makes it seem like the OEM cat/midpipe connection is a slip fit from the factory. It seems like you could just drop the whole OEM exhaust with no cutting, then install the Dinan midpipe and axleback.

I stand corrected. Released a bunch of resonator deletes/midpipes all together so maybe I just confused which application with what variant of pipe. Whatever the excuse, doesn't matter, you are correct. =)

Unfortunately there is not. Once the car comes back to the shop (on temporary loan) I will see if I can get the guys to put the stock exhaust back on so I can get a quick video.

Dinan, you should take goj up on his offer to test-fit your midpipe with the 340i MPE, I think that could be a popular combo. Similar cost to AWE's exhaust with midpipe, but I imagine with slightly less aggressive tone. Confirmation of fitment and a video to assess sound would be helpful.

I'd be very interested in seeing this set up now that I've given up all hope on the MPPSK.

That's what I'm thinking. Would be a nice option for those wanting an OEM+ style exhaust setup that includes a full midpipe like the MPPSK.

3D printed variants of the intake have been being tested. I believe the engineers have settled on a specific design and have ordered molds and what not but to be honest I haven't been following that project too closely.

Exhaust, yes (see link below). Mid-pipe, no. I don't foresee us doing a midpipe for the N20/26 cars either I am afraid.

Never seen a 440i (Coupe/GranCoupe/Convertibel) so couldn't tell you if it would fit. I would be surprised if it did though.

Does DINAN never respond to email? Ordered this exhaust 10 days ago and still no word about shipping, and no replies to any emails asking about it.
