Ordered black tailpipes for my 340i. Now...

how do you get the chrome ones off? No instructions included and I don't want to screw something up. Help appreciated. Thanks.

a piece of wood and a mallet, hit it from the back of the tip finishers and it will come right off.

The finishers are held on by spring clips inside the finisher that snug the finishers to the tail pipe.

Where did you get the black tips? I've been keeping an eye out and have only seen black gloss from BMS, but I'm not a fan of their lettering being visible.

Any alternatives?
