Any experience with low profile USB chargers and our flip cover?

Before I give up one of my daily artisan Starbucks latte to blindly buy a low profile USB charger, can anyone confirm if the storage lid can close fully without unplugging?

Interested in the Anker, but there's tons out there similar:

I bought the anker and confirm it does NOT fit. I now have it plugged in the rear of the car.

Still looking for a device I can use and also flip down the cover.

Works. Has a blue glow at night that you can see when the cover is flipped down.

Edit--Are you asking if you can plug in and close?

Nice I'll give that a go. I just want the keep charger plugged in and remove cable when it's not needed. I also keep change in the compartment so it would be nice to close it without wear and tear on the socket.

Or go this route and install a Qi wireless charger under your arm rest.

I use the Aukey CC-S1 in my F30 and it sits almost flush in the lighter receptacle and does allow the complete closing of the cover when nothing plugged in. IT is a dual USB port 5V 2.4A each.

Another vote for the Aukey. Have the 2x2.4A one that has been listed here multiple times and it works flawlessly and sits flush. Best $15 I ever spent on a stupid car charger.

Anybody make a low profile USB cable? With the low profile charger, the right cable would allow the bin to close completely. Maybe a right angle cable??

Haven't seen any low profile right angle USB cables. You really have no additional clearance with any type of USB cable. The Aukey just barely clears closing the cover.
