Don't get stage 1 period I got it and wasn't super impressed. Stage 2 was a total game changer drivability was better car actually feels better than stock turbo

Second - wait till you're ready to run secondary fueling as you'll see very little gain without methanol or x98 injection.

Oh and as for tunes JB4 is the only option imo if you're really trying to mod this car

Tune only I've heard good things about active 8 but if you're going the distance jb4 is a must.
Agree 100%

[QUOTE=Mike@N54Tuning.com;22778077]If you setup with JB4 you will be able to use the back end flash maps that will be developed once flash tuning is available for the platfrom.

Not trying to hijack thread, but.....If i was to buy jb4 now, Will the back end flash being added later be compatable with the current jb4? Will it cost extra to add flash tuning?

Yes it will be....

The back end flash maps are alway FREE from BMS.

Do you get much more turbo noise with the bigger turbo? That's one thing I'm missing with the current setup (dp, intake, jb4), even though it's way better than stock. Wish there was an equivalent of a bov mod for this car.

Are people upgrading the LPFP in these cars as well . I know my N55 I had to swap in a Walbro 450 pump. Would that same scenario work for the b58 ?

On stage1 its not necessary but there is a built in fuel cap that has not been circumvented..

Oh yeah a great DIY and only spend like $150 tops . Capable of running a higher e85 mix with this simple mod .

You did it the right way IMOP! And that's old school but still works like a charm on high HP cars. I'm with you. I am surprised that it is not a popular alternative offered by these vendors on these new cars! maybe because of the warranty who knows but great for those who don't have a warranty or could not care less.

It's the same thing as if you were going to get a stage 2 fuel it fuel pump . They use the Walbro 450 pump and their stage 3 is dual 450s . I just did it myself to save money .

Oh OK thanks for telling me! Did not know because I have not seen it but since you mention it I'd like to check it out. Especially when I go pure stg 2.

I have done this (add one 400lph walbro) -8 lines, aeromotive adj fp regulator and 1650cc high z injectors to run E85 on my 550whp DSM.

And the 2000 psi fuel pressure from the DI does not hurt the walbros or depends where you install them? Or is that fuel pressure just at the fule rails?

Not really. You would need a piggyback to take advantage of the larger turbo.
