That's awesome. Thanks for the post. I never realized they had that program. I just submitted for mine and it is over $6,000 off MSRP. Only issue is they are charging me $7,500 for shipping to Germany (I am stationed in Hawaii) which completely negates the discount. How much did you get charged for shipping?

The shipping to US is free, I'm going to pay like $800 from the US to Puerto Rico, I don't think that's a bad deal. Let me know I will give my CA information.

Why not just wait til you get to Germany to purchase?

The salesman made a mistake and added an extra zero.

Just clarify Pentagon Car Sales handles non-Germany military car sales as well? I've heard some horror stories about the local one here in Korea.

They have several locations, but handle anyone who is stationed OCONUS. I have been doing mine all online.

Calling BMW & checking marinetraffic.com every day to keep track of the ships in Bremerhaven to see which one my car gets on, because it's at the dock waiting shipment. Currenty the Integrity and Tombarra are in port, both used by WW. Not that I'm obsessing or anything!

Wow, you're probably one of the 1st cars of the line! Congrats! Have you tried the voice control, it's ok but a lot of things it could not pickup, wonder if they improved it?
