23 here, my second BMW after an E36 318i sedan I used to drive in high school and I stil have it !
Probably one of the maybe 3 or 4 here in El Paso, TX! It really doesn't matter what age you are, as long as you feel comfortable in your car and it suits your needs!

You will, buy an older Cadillac DTS.
Joking obviously. You won't look "old" driving a 4 Series. Unless you live in an affluent area, most younger people can't afford a brand new BMW anyway. |

42 here. My last BMW was a F10 535i. That made me feel old. Even a few friends commented that the 5 series was a mid life car. Lol. The 4 series is a perfect fit. Nice luxury sports coupe.

35 now and my 435I is my 6th BMW
05' 525I, 07' 550, 08' X5, 11' 335I coupe, 11' 550, and now 14' 435I EBII. I had a few Acuras in between. I drive what I like and feel the 435I matches me best so far. |

I love the responses in this thread. Hilarious.
I'm freshly old; 30y/o. I don't think a 4 series is too 'young' of a car. It's more of a lifestyle choice. If you have a family, whether you're 20 or 70, it doesn't really seem to fit unless you have another vehicle to drive your family in. The 4 won't look good with wife and kids. IMO. |

I assume its more about income then age.
If when I was 20 and could afford a $60k as equipped 435xi Msport or any other $60k car that would have been pretty amazing. Unfortunately it took a while. I am 41 |

Somewhat on topic, I don't discriminate on age no matter what car you drive. As long as you drive it like it was meant to be driven, at least from time to time. I once saw an elderly man (must have been 80ish) driving an Aventador. I just wanted to shout out "you're not fooling anyone". He was the slowest car on the road albeit driving the fastest car on the road. Who knows, maybe by the time I can comfortably afford an Aventador-esque car, I will make the purchase regardless of whether I'm physically equipped to drive it. Reaching that brass ring has some mind altering effects sometimes. |
