Caterham confirm Kobayashi & Ericsson

Caterham will field an all-new driver line-up this year after confirming that Japanese driver Kamui Kobayashi and Swedish rookie Marcus Ericsson will spearhead their 2014 campaign.

I LOVE watching Kamui drive. Very happy to have him back on the F1 track.

Kamui is too much fun to watch... like putting a Cadillac in a dog-house, he'll make it fit.

This will be the last you hear from these drivers. They get no coverage.

I was thinking that it was a smart move by Caterham getting Kamui into the team - he is a very popular driver and does get mentioned quite a lot at least during the BBC coverage for his ambitious driving.
Never heard of the other driver though - but I like to see new faces, there is always that hope that he might turn out to be the next "Senna".
Shame for Heikki - his reputation never really got over his time with Hamilton.

Very happy about Kamui getting a seat be it with Caterham

Who knows, new rules could spell a slightly better outcome for the Caterham team.

I was going to say the same thing. I hope they're more competitive this year.

But I hope caterham will be up in the mid-field. So Kobayashi will have the tools to fight.

Me too. I just wish he had a better car. Some of the things he did in those Saubers were incredible.

Glad he's back. Caterham would be hard-pressed to say "no" to someone driving for free.

He truly has a love of the sport. Don't know of many pro athletes that would do what they do if they weren't getting paid.
