A love it or hate it M car gets properly prepped for sale - M Coupe

This beautiful laguna seca blue BMW M coupe gets properly prepped for sale.

Here what we will be doing to the car -

- wash
- decon
- clay
- compound
- polish
- wax
- full interior
- engine detail

Paint correction - also known as swirl mark removal or machine polishing, paint correction is the reduction or removal of marks in the top layer of paint to produce a more refined finish.

Paint correction will involve machine polishing and various grades of cleanser, polish, or compound. The majority of work is usually done with orbital or rotary machine polishers to get the best level of correction.

Great paint correction requires a high level of skill and concentration, but done properly, paint correction can transform the look of a car by dealing all the issues discussed above.

Reasons to seek out paint correction services:

- Road grime, grit, tar
- Bird crap, dead bugs, and tree sap
- Water spots
- Improper wash techniques and products used
- People brushing against the car with their clothing or bags
- Holograms and swirls caused by lack of proper training and techniques
- Automated car washes

All of the above can leave the paint of a car looking imperfect - dull, faded, and covered in various level of scratches (from light to heavy), swirls, and marring.

For most vehicles, paint correction really can make a substantial difference and will completely remove or significantly reduce most marks. Once the paint correction is done the results will display amazing gloss, depth of color, and slickness.

We will remove
- 90% of deeper swirl marks.
- Remove etching from water spots and bird etchings.
- Remove and or reduce lighter scratches and marring
- Remove surface contamination
- Restore faded and dull paint
- Polish and bring back gloss and depth of paint

Will not remove the all swirls, or deep scratches. We will not be fixing rock chips at this level either.

Looks great Phil! Just looking closely at the Rupes, is that the original 15 or the 15 Mark II?

It seems as though many people prefer the size of the 15 vs. the 21 or Flex 3401?

Any thoughts on the size difference on 15 vs. 21? Or even 15 vs. FLEX?

love following your detail posts! great job as always!

I noticed you're using Nanolex Wheel & Iron Remover. Is this the best in your opinion for our crazy brake dust? Would you recommend it for plastidipped rims? I buy Sonax and it's good but not great. Thoughts?
