Active Sound Design query.
Hi all,
I have been informed off a dealer that my car, '63 (Late 2013) 435i has ASD. Now either its absolute rubbish or I dont have it. Whats the best way to check? It isnt in the boot compartment, but then I have base audio and no amp in there either. Could ASD unit be somewhere else? I bought the Alpine upgrade and theyre saying it cant be installed with the ASD. Cheers! |

We're working on our Sounstage™ solution for non-US base audio equipped vehicles, and have confirmed during that process that ASD is in the same location on the vehicle with or without the HIFI or HK amplifiers. So, if you don't see the ASD module in the left-hand side of the boot then you probably don't have it.

Thanks you so much! I was digging around looking for it, got scared when I seen the BT module! Defo not in the standard amp place in left of boot though.
Thanks again! |
