Trunk only opens from key
Hello!
I recently bought an BMW 320D F30 from 2013, and i encountered a problem, the trunk of the car only opens by pressing the trunk button from the key for about 1 second, the button from the trunk itself does not work, it works very rarely. I searched this problem, and the only thing i found was that some models have the valet switch, that if moved to the left locks the trunk, but my car does not have that feature, the glovebox does not have a valet switch. thought maybe was some kind of switch on the interior of the trunk, but i couldn't find any, maybe someone can help me. Thank you! |

How about the trunk release button in the driver’s foot well? Does it work?
The hotel position switch (valet switch) should be located at the top of the glove box. See S5 in the illustration below:
