What a tragedy
I feel most for the girlfriend and her family. How youngsters that age end up behind the wheel of cars like this is beyond me. It shouldn't be possible, irrespective of wealth.

The video(s) doing the rounds online should give Plod enough evidence to prosecute the idiot should he survive
And he is an idiot. Not only has he hospitalised his girlfriend with serious injuries, he's endangered other road users and the folk watching by the roadside |

Apparently they both escaped with "relatively" minor injuries.
There's a link to the chap's instagram page on the PistonHeads thread. Seems he fancies himself as a driving god by the looks of it.

Absolutely gob smacked!
Just watching how fast he was going before the crash made me feel uneasy. Hope they both pull through and thoughts with both sets of parents.
