We're a wk27 build, so I think delivery date was quoted as somewhere near end of July.
Just a bit of a luck-out really. Already had the car on order and in the system (not knowing the Shadow Edition was coming). Seems like an order for a 340i Touring Shadow will now see end of the year, maybe next year, for delivery

Not wholly true, the risk is higher but if the oil is changed regularly and car is driven with a good varied journeys to heat the oil enough to burn out the carbon it should go on and on..

tried to change the order today to a 340I but was told that they couldn't get a slot until end of the year early January if even then, without cancelling my order and finding my a new dealership which I cant do now, I know ill be happy with the 335D ill just miss the noise ;-)
