What do I need to get to code enhanced Bluetooth to my car?

The software such as E-sys is free. The only thing you need to buy is something like this:

you can also order a slightly more expensive option with an ethernet cable included:

I used this website to download E-sys, however, some links are broken (don't remember which one worked but definitely one did):

Unfortunately, I only coded BMW 1 series, so I don't know codes required for enhanced bluetooth but I'm sure that someone has already posted them or will post them for you

The F30 and F20 share the same general set of coding instructions so they are fairly similar if not the same on some.

A silly question but how do i know if my Media can have the enhanced Bluetooth enabled?

I have the small screen Nav, can only play audio through 3.5mm jack plug, with no control apart from buttons on the phone

Let me know how you get on, I'm going to code when the new car arrives.

Some things just drive me crazy on my current F30 and can't be bothered to code when it goes back in a few months.

If you read teaston guide (Click Here) it provides information on what Nav units can be coded with EBT.

If your car (with small Nav screen) was built after March 2015 or You have the > September 2013 system with COMBOX, EBT can be coded.
