40 would poke out too much but no rubbing unless you're fully dumped and bottoming out. Had the issue on bc

Yea I actually had 255 but change to 265 for more surface coverage. If you're a fan of the stretch and pole look then you're fine

I'm not bothered by it, but is it stretched a lot though? Cause I' just don't want to buy 265's and not fit then having to go buy 255's. I just want to make sure from the beginning that'll they'll fit for sure. I just don't want rub really.. And looking at your car, 255's wouldn't be that much of a stretch look but I could be wrong haven't seened it in person.

So jealous of you guys and your 19s. I had a beautiful set of 19s on my E90, but since I'm moving to MI and the roads are garbage there, can't risk putting a set of 19s on my F30.
Guess I'm stuck with these 18s for now

I think without running run flats and choosing a quality wheels, 19s can be run on any roads. When you go up to 20s, I think you are asking for trouble if you aren't running a strong forged wheel.

Which of the aftermarket companies have durable rims? I had Alufelgen SF-71s on my E90 and although beautiful, I would hardly call them strong.

I got the spioler from creative motoring but it wasn't painted. You can get a painted one on eBay if you don't want to go through the hassle of getting it painted

They are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 (no need to go 9/10 with Forgestar since the concavity is barrel specific so they won't be more concave). I honestly have no idea about the offset since I just said I wanted wheels for a F30. But they are quite aggressive so I would think ET30-32 fronts and ET35-38 rears. Tires are Michelin PSS in stock sizes. |
