Hi i wanted to start a thread about 335i lease deals. Ive seen many about 328i but not 335i. I want to know your deals to help me make a deal.

2013 335i EB exterior/coral red
Premium package
Navigation system
M-sport line
Sport auto with shift paddles.
=$52,645
12k m/yr for 36 months
Up to 4000 down.
Has anyone got monthly payments in the $400 range?

I don't really get the point of "Premium Package" on the 335i. I think it's the worst $2000+ you can spend. Again just my opinion, but the BMW Leatherette is pretty good. Can hardly tell the difference. In essence for another $800, you get comfort access + Satellite Radio? Slickdeals has various codes where you can get a year's worth for $77. Is the kick trunk open that big of a deal?

With $2000 down, that brings my payment down to $424. 12k/36 months. This is with Tax + Acquisition Fees rolled in. I should also mention that I was doing a ED, thus the agreed upon price was $550 Above ED Invoice...

My Sales MGR. agreed to sell me the AH3 for the same deal, so I am considering that, since the incentives are a tad bit better on those...

I must be missing something. There's no way that $2000 down will reduce your payment by $110/month. That should reduce it roughly $60. How you're getting your payment down almost twice that is a mystery.

You are correct. I had a typo. My original with just the $750 incentive was: $487.30. With $2000 down, it comes down to: $424.

I accidentally told you the 2 yr 12k lease payment - which was $535.

Identical Numbers:
12k/2yr No Money Down: $535 @ 70% Residual; .00129 + .0003 = .00159 MF
12k/2yr $2000 Down: $443

15k/2yr No Money Down: $578 @ 68% Residual; .00129 + .0003 = .00159 MF
15k/2yr $2000 Down: $486

That makes a lot more sense. I read that first payment 4 or 5 times trying to figure out how you got it so low, wondering why I couldn't reduce my payment that much with just a little down.

You can get the rates down with multiple MSD's and ED. Also the $750 loyalty and $500 pull ahead. I'm pricing a 335 with msrp @ $50k, 12k miles and 24/mo... at about $430 a month nothing down

Aren't you liable for the rest of the cost of the lease anyway in the case of a totaled car?

Same. First timer. You put higher MSD but lower down payments. thats what I've noticed people do.

Leases have gap insurance built into them. So if the car is totalled the gap insurance will cover the remainder of the lease. However, any money you put down is lost. So if anything happens to the car kiss you $10k goodbye.

Putting money down on a lease is essencially making the payments up front. You'll likely save a very small amount in interest and a lower monthly payment might look more appealing, but the risk of losing it in the case of an accident is generally too high for most people.
