That wood trim doesn't look good at all. At least it doesn't go with that leather color IMO.

700 ft/lb of torque!?

4.5 seconds to 60 is already very quick, but I guarantee the car feels so much faster than that with all of that torque. I would probably get cramps in my face from smiling all the time.

Are there distributors of Alpina parts (body parts, exhaust, wheels) that we can get in the US?
I know Alpine wheels are usually pretty expensive, but I'd seriously consider picking up a 328xi wagon, put some alpina parts on it and a nice flash for the engine, that'd be my perfect daily driver

Personally, I like the concept of a diesel 3-series that has (close to) the performance of an M3...

wheels- they've been using this 20 spoke design for the past 50 years because the turbine like design is best for high speed stability and the valve is hidden in the center cap to prevent damage.

aerodynamic kit- these add on lips and spoilers are wind tunnel tested for high speed driving, thus making all ALPINA models the fastest production Bmws in the world. For example, the B3 and B4 has a top speed of 303 km/h, B7 321 km/h and the XD3 is the world's fastest production diesel SUV, D5 fastest diesel super saloon.
None of the M cars can touch them on the autobahn. So while some may prefer the bulging looks of the M cars, Alpina's kits actually do serve a purpose.

interior- yes, comes standard with dakota leather with merino optional. They also offer highest quality lavalina leather which is used by Rolls Royce but not available in Bmw. If you can afford it, the sky's the limit with Alpina.

Alpina are also suspension maestros, you really have to drive one to feel the difference.

Engines are hand built, standard exhaust by Akrapovic, brakes by Brembo and LSD by Drexler.

But don't take my word for it, you really have to drive one to believe.

I am writing this in the one and only dedicated ALPINA showroom in Singapore and South East Asia, so yes, I may be a bit biased.

I wish they would sell these in the states. I would buy a CPO in a heart beat. Not crazy about their rims, but I am sure I could fetch a nice penny for them.
