Opinions on bodykit and lowering

Hello all,

My current 316i is on stock suspension. I'm planning to add the M-sport body kit and H&R sports spring kit (in no particular order) as currently car looks like it's on "monster truck" set-up after swapping the rims.

However, the issue I have is the driveway to my house is at an angled slope. The question is, should I proceed with all the proposed mods above, do just the bodykit without the springs or just lower the car on H&R springs without the bodykit?

Thanks.

You will definitely scrape the underside of the M lip but it's underneath so who cares. Do it, I did the lip and drop on mine and it looks awesome.

Some pics after car wash yesterday. Changed to H&R sport springs and added body coating:

Sorry.. blurry Iphone pics

Next mod: M Performance body kit and new Vossen rims. Any suggestions on the rims?

The drop looks super cool.... I have been thinking abt droping mine as well but I can't make up my mind. First I don't like the look of the car so high, but what I really don't like is that the car doesn't feel planted at all, esspacially on high speeds. Did u feel any difference after the drop or it still feels like driving an old american car with a lot of body roll?

Ride feels a little firmer, less bouncy. As for body roll, I think it's still there, though I don't tackle the corners aggressively due to the poor road conditions in some areas.

I think the springs dropped about 10mm. Just nice enough to cover the wheel gap at the moment.

I'm thinking of switching to Vossen rims. My thoughts would be on either the CV3s or CV5s. Any recommendations guys?

yeah... m badge on the rear is frowned upon even on a 335i let alone a 316i..

but its your car, so who cares what others think
