MST air intake good first performance mod for 435i f32?

After having my 435i ( used with 45k miles now) for three months, I am ready to start modding it.

After doing a little bit research, I feel like the mst air intake is a good starting point. Would you guys agree?

It's not overly expensive, and from my understanding will add 15 hp?

Would you recommend doing another modification before it? Or maybe changing out some small parts to help it run more smoothly with this air intake.

I have the sports trim 2015 435i xdrive by the way.

I'd do intake last. It adds more sound than power

BM3 or MHD Stage 1 flash tune is a good 1st performance mod.

however, if you're stuck in "intake" mode and getting one anyway, get this instead of mst, $264 shipped...

the best order of engine performance mods is
flash tune
catless or high flow catted dp
upgraded intercooler
exhaust(mostly sound)
intake(mostly sound)

other supporting mods(some may not be necessary)
charge pipe...on N55's the OEM one often fails may as well change these during the intercooler swap. https://www.ctsturbo.com/product/cts...pe-set-xdrive/
diverter valve
turbo inlet pipe
oil catch can

Yep, I agree. I would also recommend a stage 1 flash tune as a first mod.

Even the MPPK only adds 20HP, which gives a staggering 0.2 second improvement 0-60MPH.

If you want M4 performance you need to buy an M4.

AFTER you upgrade your stock charge pipe.
