That reminds me of when I found the one in the front center under the dash in the I3. I use it for a DC air pump to top up pressures in the car and motorcycle now, LOL. Favorite find for sure! (And nice to know where the hidden one in our 440 is?)

obligatory photo of when i used my front facing camera to find the new hotness. finding existing features = best free mod ever.
That was the problem right there Glad you have it sorted and I suppose Xmas came early for you, haha.

I hate to admit it but this was the very last feature I found in my car and I only did thanks to another member here. This forum has been fun to frequent and offers a wealth of information....this calls for a lol

Glad you found it, but that's almost exactly what I said in post #7.

I find it useful as my kids don't run off with the charger when they can't see it

Good list. I just noticed these ugly 'Gran Coupe' decals on my F36 LCI windows. Small project for the weekend to ditch those....

Also +1 on the Blendmount radar detector mount. It blends in enough I don't even bother to take my detector off when I'm parked.

Yesterday I enabled the rear fog lights.

You just pop out the blank button under the fog light button. I just went in with a trim tool on the drivers side and worked it under a bit, the blank pops right out. You do not have to remove the AC vent and switch assembly. Once you have the button out, there's 3 plastic tabs (1 top 2 bottom) you just carefully grind off with a dremel. Then pop the button back in.

And code it....

I was in thick fog a couple weeks ago and this would be cool to have. It's free, if you can code.

Interesting, so instead of buying the button you just modified the blank? not bad haha.

Correct .. there's a thread on it here http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=877278 but you don't have to remove all that stuff, the blank pops out independently.

If I could find the button part # (with the depressed contouring, and the symbol thing that lights up) I would, but I can't, so I just popped that out and chopped at it. The blank as a button works fine.

I did that mod on my e90...it was pretty easy but I never used it. I originally did it to back off tailgaters, but when I get a tailgater they just eat my e85 exhaust smoke.
